Giclée fine art can be considered the modern form of artistic printing technology. The method was born in France and the USA with a mixture of the old traditional inkjet method and the latest digital technology and is used for the production of graphic art in limited series. The Giclée method enables artists to offer their artworks in small editions, with high print quality.

Hahnemühle Hemp (290 gr.) is an art paper made from 60% hemp and 40% cotton. The surface of the paper has a light grain that gives the paper a beautiful structure and a smooth feel. The white fibers of the hemp mean that the paper has a white base and no visible fibers. The use of hemp in the paper production gives Hemp paper a smaller climate footprint than traditional art paper made from 100% cotton. The paper is acid-free and meets the highest requirements for density, color space and sharpness. Hemp can be combined with a variety of picture mounts and frames.
